Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret and fully understand project plans and specifications.
- Perform takeoffs using specialized software and enter takeoff data into our internal systems.
- Identify and analyze design issues and scope gaps to ensure complete project coverage in bids.
- Offer value engineering solutions to reduce costs and adhere to budget constraints, as needed.
- Maintain and manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and participating in meetings as necessary.
- Organize and manage email correspondence efficiently.
- Oversee the organization and documentation of communication related to bids.
- Track and document the progression of bids and client interactions.
- Collaborate with management to review project scope and pricing, and prepare proposals for clients.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the industry or related business fields.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Experience working with Bluebeam on construction plans
- High sense of responsibility and pride in one’s work.
- Proficiency in technology and basic computer applications.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality work.
- Ability to interpret and understand diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to solve unconventional problems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or business-related field is preferred but not mandatory.
