INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Overview: Seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on various process control equipment and systems. The role ensures safe and reliable production following industry standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to all operational and safety procedures, standards, and regulations to ensure personal safety and the safe completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
- Perform assigned preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on process control and analytical technology equipment, ensuring timely completion according to plan and schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair process control equipment promptly to maintain safe and reliable operations.
- Provide feedback to supervisors, planners, engineers, and production staff on maintenance task performance and identified issues to support continuous improvement.
- Share maintenance experiences with other technicians to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Complete assigned training sessions and related safety activities promptly.
- Execute corrective maintenance tasks during shifts to ensure ongoing safe and reliable operations.
- Maintain and properly use all tools required for maintenance tasks.
- Prepare and submit maintenance activity reports to supervisors, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Vocational training in electrical and instrumentation or equivalent work experience in the field.
- Successful completion of written and practical assessments relevant to the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work independently on back shifts and weekends.
- Capability to work rotating shifts.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Required to train, qualify, and respond as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Employees in safety-critical positions are subject to random drug screenings.
