POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in London. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring and managing corporate clients, primarily focusing on UK-based businesses. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong sales background to thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and acquire new corporate clients within the UK market, including SMEs and large enterprises, through proactive outreach efforts, networking, and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients’ currency needs, risk profiles, and business objectives to offer tailored foreign exchange solutions and strategies.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive positioning, and utilize this information to develop effective sales strategies.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, guidance, and consultation to ensure their currency transactions are executed seamlessly and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including trading, operations, and compliance, to deliver customized solutions that meet clients’ needs while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation, client acquisition, and retention.
- Stay informed about developments in the foreign exchange market, regulatory changes, and industry trends to effectively advise clients and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and expand our market presence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the financial services industry or B2B sales environment.
- Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, currency trading, and risk management concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
