Homestrong Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a respected manufacturing company known for its commitment to safety, quality, and innovative practices.

The maintenance technician will assist in daily maintenance activities and provide guidance and training to other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and process equipment to ensure production efficiency.
  • Utilize and troubleshoot PLCs, including code modifications and program loading.
  • Repair and configure AC/DC drives and inverters, including programming and startup tuning.
  • Design and install electrical circuits and electromechanical upgrades to enhance equipment performance and safety.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of plant operating systems, including access to diagrams and schematics.
  • Provide 24/7 technical support and lead assembly, installation, and disassembly of production equipment.
  • Collaborate with contractors for equipment repairs, installations, and upgrades.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production lines and support equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to plant and department housekeeping standards.
 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with blown film manufacturing and converting equipment is a plus.
  • Solid electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
